SAVOURY BREAD AND BUTTER BAKE
INGREDIENTS

4 slices white bread
1/3 cup butter, melted
4 ounces ROSENBORG® Danish Blue cheese, crumbled
3 ounces smoked ham slices, cut into thin strips
3 eggs
Just less than 2 cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste

SERVES 4

METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 375°F / 190°C / Gas 5

2. Cut the bread into 4 triangles and dip into the melted butter. Arrange in a greased ovenproof dish.

3. Scatter over the cheese and ham.

4. Beat the eggs with the milk and seasonings and pour through a sieve over the bread, ham and cheese.

5. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until risen and golden brown.

6. Serve with salad.
