| SAVOURY BREAD AND BUTTER PUDDING |

4 slices medium sliced white bread
75 g (3 oz) butter, melted
100 g (4 oz) Rosenborg Danish Blue cheese, crumbled
75 g (3 oz) smoked ham, diced
3 eggs
400 ml (just less than 1 pint) milk
Salt and pepper to taste |

1. Preheat oven to Gas 5, 190°C, 375°F.
2. Cut the bread into 4 triangles and dip into the melted butter. Arrange in a greased ovenproof dish.
3. Scatter over the cheese and ham.
4. Beat the eggs with the milk and seasonings and pour through a sieve over the bread, ham and cheese.
5. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until risen and golden brown.
6. Serve with salad.
